I do not think most people care about woke, nor do they care about the DNC. We are talking about people who got angry at Biden for inflation, when they had absolutely no idea what really happened to them as a result of COVID. COVID…where every group in power around the world lost ground - for the first time ever.
Your post might be read and assimilated by the politically involved, but most Americans are too self absorbed to care. That is why our participation rates are so bad.
I think Trump won because people reacted negatively to COVID caused inflation and took it out on Incumbents or perceived incumbents just like every other ruling democratic party in advanced nations lost ground post COVID , for the first time ever, except Canada because of Trump. I think expensive eggs “trump” ads.
As to what happened because of anti COVID vaccinations is outlined here.
I do not think so, no. I think Trump won because of COVID preventative actions (necessary) and COVID caused inflation, coupled with the fact some Americans could not find an economic truth with a flashlight, a map, GPS, a compass, and a seeing eye dog. Trump was elected because of inflation experienced at a personal level and those same people lashed out at the NEAREST incumbent. Harris was seen as an incumbent. This is despite the great work Biden did to bring inflation down. Our economy was beating the world in recovery.
And . . .Because those who knew better about Trump, but were soured one issue voters, thought Biden was too old, didn't like Harris, or were just lazy chose to sit this one out.
Our voter pool is populated with adults, too many of whom don't take responsibility like an adult. In my opinion, saviors and father figures are overrated as a reason to vote. Saving democracy is..
The effectiveness of Trump's "they/them" ad (as confirmed by analysis by both sides) in moving voters proves that a significant number of voters do care about "woke" and "the DNC". One can't prove one way or another that Trump or Harris would have won if not for these self-inflicted harms, but we do know that they are real effects. Of course you think voters *should* think differently, but we are talking about how they *do* think. Voters convinced themselves that vaccines don't work because of their MAGA identity, not the other way around. Just as many Republican voters have become climate deniers because of their political identity, not the other way around.

To summarize the deniers got sick and died more often than the rest of us.
Doesn't the effectiveness of Trump's anti-Harris ad prove you wrong?
