Her ad and speeches so far are very similar to Hillary's, focused on attacking Trump's character and showcasing Democrats' diversity.

The article is at best speculative.

We elected Biden as a moderate only to have him move Left, one of the reasons Sanders was one of his biggest backers to the current. Now will Harris pivot center, I don't know. She is not ideologically, a Clinton type who shored up the middle.

Imo the key issue and the one that is most important and working against the Democrats amongst the general public is immigration. Of all issues, voters when asked who they favor the Rs or the Ds, immigration was the highest rated favorable to the Rs, and Biden had an incoherent policy, that produced so much havoc that he in the last 6 months had to pivot to the center and reduce border crossings, because it was toxic politically.

Harris was tasked with that issue specifically, so they are going to tag her relentlessly. I think she needs to distance herself from her former boss. You can be pro immigration yet support stopping illegal crossings, and eliminating the end run of getting over the border by claiming asylum which creates a de facto open border.
