thanks for an excellent interview Lauren. I'm wondering if the Secret Congress strategy can take us where we need to go. Versions of it were used to pass four big pieces of federal climate/clean energy legislation since 2020, but it's been easy for opponents (including green and EJ groups) to erect barriers to clean energy projects all over the country. I worry that its been easy because the public was not brought along, was not persuaded that we need a clean energy transition or massive public investments in green infrastructure. If we enact policies that most Americans don't know about and don't understand, can we expect them to care when the policies are blocked?
